I'm a member of Walmart's communications team and have been working to support this program. You raise some interesting points I can address.

One of the main reasons we developed a program to make food healthier and healthier food more affordable was in response to feedback from our customers. They have told us they want a variety of food choices and need help feeding thier families healthier foods. And we're committed to doing both because no family should have to choose between food that is healthier for them and food they can afford. You can visit www.walmartstores.com/healthierfoods for more info.

In regards to social responsibility, we have said that we can serve as an advocate for our customers and are willing to take the lead on those important issues that matter to them.
